Art & Architecture in Pasadena: Directions and Controversies — Related to the role Pasadena has played in shaping our present and future culture of urbanism, architecture and the arts, the Armory, the Pasadena-Foothill Chapter of the AIA, and Peter Tolkin Architecture are co-sponsoring a series of panel discussions at the Armory Center for the Arts, 145 North Raymond Ave., on three consecutive Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The series begins on October 24 with an examination of Pasadena and its various histories of art and architecture. The second panel, on October 31, looks at the visions and plans that continue to shape Pasadena.
